Convention registration, and other purchases made during or after registration, is fully refundable, excluding an administration fee.
- The administration fee for each transaction equal to or over $100 will be the greater of $50 or 20% of the total transaction.
- The administration fee for each transaction under $100 will be the greater of $20 or 20% of the total transaction.
No refunds will be issued after the 31 May 2017.
Transfer of Registration Policy (Exchange Policy)
Convention registrations, and other purchases made during or after registration, cannot be transferred to another person and will only be issued to the person whose name was entered during registration.
Please review your order carefully before submitting as we are unable to exchange any purchases once payment has been received unless your request to exchange is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
All purchases made are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. In the event that goods or services sold are not of an acceptable quality, we will do all we can to rectify the situation and where we believe we cannot rectify the situation we will provide you with a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers being misled, intentionally or unintentionally and this applies to all aspects of the sale and promotion of goods and services on this site.
Discount Code Terms and conditions
We may provide the facility for you to present and/or redeem vouchers (and/or coupons) for discounts through our checkout system.
When a voucher is provided, we may also attach certain requirements or restrictions as to how that voucher can be used, and/or who that voucher can be used by. Where we believe these requirements or restrictions have not been met, we may cancel the voucher and associated discount at our sole discretion.
If your order exceeds the amount of your voucher, you must pay for the balance with a credit card or other agreed forms of payment.
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable.
Vouchers are valid up until (and including) the date recorded on the front of the voucher.
The voucher will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
Each voucher is identified by individual code that must not be changed or copied by purchaser. The purchaser is not allowed to transfer, re-assign, or re-sell a voucher.
Change to orders
Unfortunately, once you’ve submitted your order and payment has been accepted we cannot guarantee to make any changes to the order – please review your order carefully before submitting.
Credit Card Payments
The name that will appear on your statement will be NZ MAGIC CONVENTION.
Note that a transaction fee of 3.4% of the order total will apply to all credit card transactions. Please note, any transaction fees are not considered as part of the ‘total price’, or ‘total transaction’, and therefore are not refundable in any way.
International Bank Transfers
Please note that a $15 fee will be applied to all orders paid for via wire transfer. In addition to this fee, payers must ensure that all fees relating to the transfer of money are paid for by the payer – this will be an option you must select when making the payment. Please note that we will not confirm the payment unless the full order amount is received in our bank account. Please note, any transaction fees are not considered as part of the ‘total price’, or ‘total transaction’, and therefore are not refundable in any way.
These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time at our sole discretion. It remains your responsibility to access and check these terms and conditions whenever you access the Site.
